Welcome to the Youth & Family Ministry section of the USCR website. Its purpose is to serve Unity youth and Spiritual educators. As consultants, we provide support, information, events and training for the growth and development of vital Youth and Family Ministry programs. We serve, remembering that Myrtle Fillmore, Unity Co-Founder, posed the question, “Who will care for the children?” Her response is our guide :

"Our mission is not to entertain the children, but to call them out. To be always entertained is to be dwarfed and dependent. To be ‘called out’ is to follow the harmonious law of the soul’s unfoldment.

Who meddles with the rosebud? What fingers are deft enough to pry open that marvel of folded beauty? We are wise enough to leave it alone to follow the glad law of its own unfolding.

But our children! Have we dealt as wisely with these buds of marvelous possibilities? Have we always remembered that they, too, must quicken and unfold through the innate law of their own genius?”

Youth and Family Ministry Listserves

USCR provides several email list serves to connect directors, volunteers and sponsors to other YFM leaders throughout the region. Our listserves are also used to send important information from the regional consultants to volunteers and directors.

We have four different listserves:

Directors: Used to send information to YFM directors at churches throughout the USCR region
Uniteens: Used to connect and send information to Uniteen leaders
Central YOU: Used to connect and send information to Central YOU Sponsors
South YOU: Used to connect and send information to South YOU Sponsors

Please indicate which list (or lists) you would like to join, as well as your email address. You will receive further automated instructions once one of the consultants has added you to the list.
