New South Central YOU Policies
After much consideration, we’ve made some changes to the South-Central policies!
~First, we’ve created a service requirement to attend rally. Throughout the year, any YOUer who attends a rally is going to be asked to contribute 30 hours of his/her time to doing service. We are asking that at least 10 yours be completed by each rally, meaning a total of 10 hours for fall, 20 hours for winter rally, and 30 hours for bi-regi. This is the minimum amount, and we even encourage you to do more than 30 hours!
~ Second, we changed polices regarding age/grade of those who attend rally. The new policy is as follows: In order to attend a regional YOU retreat, YOUers must be in grades 9, 10, 11, 12 or equivalent , with a minimum age of 14 and a maximum age of 19; or, if not in high school, a maximum age of 18.
