NGU Support Staff
The NGU Support Staff are needed at a weekend Spiritual Retreat called a "Unitreat" which includes: large and small group activities, Funshops, team building, ropes course, crafts, free-time sports, singing, prayer, meditation, labyrinth, music, dance, games, food, fun and fellowship in a beautiful retreat setting.
What does the NGU and YOU Support Staff Team "do" at a Uniteen Retreat?
Acting in a leadership capacity, the NGU Support Staff Team would practice their individual leadership skills by leading joy songs; review heart agreements & uphold heart agreements as a living example of a principle-centered spiritual young adult; lead "Spirit Group" (Family Group) sessions; participate and assist the facilitator of the various Funshops; support the Uniteens in the retreat experience; earn service hours and have fun. The NGU Support Staff also serve with the Uniteen Consultant, assist the YOU Support Staff and Adult Staff in a spiritually supportive setting.
NOTE: All NGUer's and chaperoning adults must have a Criminal Background Check on file with their sponsoring church. Please see the Youth & Family Ministry Director at your sponsoring church to complete this paperwork and assist you in this standard procedure of anyone who works with minors.

What do I do next?
Fill out a NGU Support Staff application! You must apply to be on the NGU Support Staff, we will not assign individuals to these roles. All applications must be postmarked by August 10, 2010. Contact Rev. Joanne Burns using the contact information provided below to return a NGU Support Staff registration form.
Print one set of of all the documents and note that they are numbered in order to simplify the process for you.
Complete and return the Application no later than August 10, 2010. Earlier is better!
